Dove papercut

Noah sent a dove in search of dry land and it returned with an olive leaf in its beak (Genesis 8, 11). Since then, a dove symbolizes peace and new beginnings. The Hebrew word Shalom stands out at the center of this papercut, while the dove holds olive branches in its feet. Above the word Shalom the Israeli flag unfurls, befitting the fact that God calls the Jewish people lovingly "My dove" in Song of Songs (5, 2). Below Shalom a typical Jerusalem scene is depicted, since one of her seventy names is "City of the Dove" (Midrash Zuta Song of Songs, 1)
