Eshet Chail Woman of Valor papercut
The entire chapter of Proverbs 31, written in acrostic from Aleph - the first Hebrew letter to Tav - the last of the 22, is a song of love and praise. It is traditionally sung on Friday night by the husband in honor of his wife or by the whole family to the women of the house. The Star of David at the top of this lasercut is the official national symbol of the State of Israel and appears on the flag. Eshet Chail is held by a pomegranate on each side, representing hope for plenty and prosperity. The trees, on either side of Eshet Chail, are also an important symbol in Jewish life and thought.
