Priestly Blessing papercut
May God bless you and guard you. May God shine His face upon you and grace you. May God lift up His face to you and grant you peace. (Numbers 6, 24-26)
The Cohanim - priests, descendants of Aaron the High Priest, are commanded to bless the Jewish people with a three-fold blessing. Indeed, for thousands of years, to this very day, generations of priests raised their hands and recite the blessing that bestows God's gifts in the material, intellectual and spiritual aspects of our lives. The Hebrew letters of the blessing are held by ornaments and are highlighted by hand painted gold color. |
