Jerusalem papercut
The Center of the Magen David - Star of David is a painting of Jerusalem. At the bottom, a scene of the city, showing the Tower of David, Montefiore's windmill, a gate in the wall surrounding the Old City and some old houses. The Hebrew words circling the papercut are highlighted by a gold background and read: "As the mountains enwrap Jerusalem, so God enwraps his people from this time and forever" (Psalms 125,2). |
